Guinness2702 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the gridGuinness2702 should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
BTCC @ Brands

Anybody have an idea of how many people are going to this meeting? If numbers are silly again, I might look at going elsewhere again, especially as it will work out at nearly 200 miles each way, owing to the location of my caravan storage.

No, I'm not impatient, I'm considering booking the afternoon off work, so that I can get there before bedtime. I want to give them as much notice as possible so need to know if I'm going.

Thanks,
Steve.

Already decided to go to Mallory for 750MC that weekend, much as I enjoy the BTCC meetings there's a few things that swing me towards a lower profile event- will be interested to see the numbers at Trucks this weekend as that should give an indication of the likely turnout for BTCC.

Don't panic, folks!! I spoke to Chris Logan at Brands Hatch trucks today, he hopes to have the tickets in the post tomorrow, after a delay in supply.

conspiracy theory
The tickets will be really late to cut down on the chatter on here about the overmanning. Tickets will arrive Friday. No time left for babble. Just a thought.

I usually have more trouble getting into the marshal's (sic) car park at BTCC meetings

& maybe I'll walk home

NB sic, in its bracketed form, is most often inserted into quoted or reprinted material in order to indicate accuracy in reproducing the preceding text despite appearances to the reader of an incorrect fact, or logic

I don't recall the equivalent meeting being overmanned last year when it was on 1st May and marshals were getting shipped to med centre suffering from hypothermia! However, I will be making my contribution to overmanning reduction by being elsewhere.
