I'll be there both days for my first event at Silverstone.
As the girlfriend has kicked me out to have a 'girly weekend', I'll be camping... so if anyone wants a comedy show, I'll probably be arriving on Friday evening to pitch my tent!

I hope to finally start my marshalling season with this meeting. I've had to cry off two meetings so far due to assorted problems; I wonder if the sandwiches I packed for the HSCC at Donongton on the 20th March will still be OK?

Yes, and quite looking forward to it too... big grids (mostly...), national circuit, 17 races, nothing over 20 minutes long... all sounds good to me.

I finally came out of hibernation on Saturday for this one.

Thanks to the team at Luffield Out for an enjoyable day - and good job again with that Fiesta in the morning session

Great weekend - lovely and warm

Had an enjoyable day flagging at Copse In on Saturday, was pleasantly surprised that the incident team came to visit for post briefing (I would have come to you if I'd known )

Sunday's planned day at Brooklands was curtailed by being sent to Rescue duties - so I at least got 50% at Brooklands

Finished ahead of schedule both days, with respectable lunch breaks too - mostly full grids too.

All in all a top weekend, but as my first 'weekend' of the year, I think it will be hard to maintain for the rest of the season.

Good day on Saturday, including the pleasure of seeing the Lesser Spotted Davidson shake off its winter coat. It was a tad warmer than I'd anticipated and I've come into work today with reverse panda eyes as I don't usually have sunscreen in the bag until May.

Good weekend at Copse Exit - time for some chat and banter with the folk on Copse and Inside in-between a few bits of excitement. Thanks for covering our backsides with the yellow deadsquirrel

Got a surprise visitor after lunch on Sunday - the driver who went 4 wheels off whilst we were dealing with the bent FF volunteered to come out to see us & apologise - shame it's so uncommon that it warrants mention on here though.

No problem - Copse Exit is a hairy place to work (boom boom!), was nice to see the cars respect the yellow and slow up a lot through the corner.

Had a very quiet Saturday at Runway Crossing. Sunday was a bit busier, and I hope the astroturf that the airbourne FFord tore off on landing gets stuck down a little bit more securely!!

A big THANK YOU to all marshals that attended this meeting .. Grids were good, sunshine was great ( hope no one got too burnt ) It ran in front of time both days and sufficient breaks to clear up any mess that the cars left..
great flagging was mentioned by some of the competitors and the Incident crew cleared most incidents without the need for mechanical assistance.. and some that nearly had the SC scambled were moved quickly.. WELL DONE ALL
