Panis is back
As reported a few weeks ago Panis has been the third driver for Toyota at Magny Cours. He ran through Toyota's program, but also said "I enjoyed myself a lot". What a buzz driving an F1 car must be even for those who have started 158 GP.

Yes it is 40 years, as the Autosport article says. I was exaggerating somewhat. Its significance is no less.

Friday drivers are Grand Prix drivers, according to Michelin who counted 19 signatures from 8 2-car teams.

They are indeed, Boots, but for the purposes of this statistic, we're looking at "race" drivers.
