The motorsports photography guys have made a sticky post on the forum, saying thanks to us.

Aaagh! The little so and so got me lying around! I hate having my picture taken!
And before anyone asks, I'm in orange - I'm not the recovery driver.

Did anyone get any shots of Sheddons car being recovered by the snatch tractor during the 3rd BTCC race at Oulton park on Sunday 14th May?

look through the motorsports section of the link above. Some very very accomplished photographers, all nice guys love the sport like we do. I love looking through the photos whilst at work. passes the time.

That's where you are wrong!

I was the (Only) Flag marshal at that post and was positioned to see both up and down the track!

I might be wrong, but your positioning - and the way your head is pointing - means you can see neither cars coming towards you for blue flags, nor cars / spinners / wrecks beyond your post for yellow flags.
You do look as though you have a superb view of the ground though. That is if your eyes are actually open. I can't tell from the photo, but you could be fast asleep on your feet.

Just to add my 2-penn'orth, and to leap to the marvellous Mr Mitchell's defence, that doesn't look like it's during the race to me. Parade lap? (but nobody is showing any green flags) Tour round to the pits? There is no way they were that orderly by the time they got to Knickerbrook during the race.

Also, it looks like Sunday to me, so Mark did have another flag marshal.

don't think so, hair isn't right colour and they appear to be wearing some form of long legged trouser, which i don't think he owns?!!

Also, time of day is estimated at Race 1, Sunday. It's defo Mike Jordan in 2nd so it must be him chasing Sheddon....

Yes if it was Sunday I did have Julie to show me the ropes!
Looking at the photo again, I think Julie is either bending down or lying down!

Liking it, but it gives me another reason to avoid photographers

(having showed up in the background of at least one club's website's photos so far this year)
