A contentious race to begin with but it settled down somewhat after the tyre stops, with some good battles particularly Russell and Hamilton. A shame to see Alonso forced to retire from his 400th GP because of debris in his radiator. 6

7. I enjoyed it. Just lacked a genuinely close finish for the win. But a good race overall, with a bit if controversy thrown in for good measure.
Mercedes gave us some great fights. Norris closing down the Ferraris. Piastri working his way up the field. Haas impressing. And some panel bashing down the field. |

8. Wasn’t a bad race. Plenty going on. Certainly makes things more intriguing now
Ferrari are doing well, but Merc will surely come back. And Haas are a real threat now |

7. lots going on and frankly far more than i had thought would be going on at this point of the season. Ferrari putting themselves back into the frame is great. Mclaren v RB has been contentious but absorbing none the less.
would have been higher had Norris won tho! and credit to the camera person along the starting line. he held his nose in there! and the onboards and the rear view cameras of this whole incident was top notch and really captured the speed with which Yuki was spinning. spectacular footage but also a serious reminder just how dangerous things can get. |

8. Some good racing for the first few laps and some sensible steward decisions. Good to see the Ferraris at the sharp end again and last week not being a one-off. They may yet win the constructors' championship.

7. Enjoyable highlights. More suspect driving by Max, thankfully addressed in some part this time by the stewards. Great drive by Carlos.

Full of excitement and interest, at least in the C4 edited highlights. Losing 6 laps to the safety car may have grated somewhat if I was watching live. I gave it an 8.

8 from me, too - some real racing going on, throughout the field - and encouraging that the new faces are showing themselves to be properly competitive from the start.
