Todd Kelly in 05.

There is a rumour that Todd Kelly may not sign with HRT in 2005. Has anybody else heard this. Somebody mentioned on here that a Holden seat may not be as cut and dried as everybody believed so i am wondering if this is the seat.

He hadn't signed a contract before Xmas so I wonder whether he has or not. If he doesn't then who will be Skaife's teammate??

I was thinking the exact same thing mangroper,

what about bright at HRT, todd at FPR?

or todd at kmart/kelly, and garth at HRT?

or todd at kmart/kelly, and rick at HRT?

Hmm maybe, but more likely maybe not...

Mangroper huh, I doubt that, but we West Aussies have been called some strange things before!

I think its unusual that Todd hasnt signed a contract given the musical chairs that has been going on this summer.

I would not be suprised to see Todd driving a FPR car, and Jason Bright driving a HRT.

Neither driver has been confirmed for 2005 as yet.

Bright wouldnt go back to HRT surely !

Even though Todd has the runs on the board this year with HRT, would he be a figure to lead the pack at FPR, I doubt it!
I think Brighty to be the man there.

Well whats stopping todd and rick from swapping (neither have contracts signed)

or even garth at HRT (he already has a contract with kmart, but im sure mr kelly would release him in exchange for his son)

When all the musical chairs started happening earlier in the year, Skaifey was the first to confirm on V8 Superstars that nothing is changing for 05 and Todd was already signed for the year, has something changed since then?

It has been rumoured that Garth has wanted a HRT seat in the past. One idea that passed through my head was that maybe Toddler might end up at Perkins beside Richards. I'm not sure how quickly it passed through though ::. Maybe then we would get Dumbrell at HRT.

Why would Bright go back to HRT when he was sort of the lead driver at PWR and is going to FPR as the lead driver?

I think it is almost certain that we will see Todd Kelly in a HRT car for the 05' season, as Skaife has said that the team will remain unchanged, and Todd himself said that they were sorting through the finer prints of the contract, but he was very keen to sign for the team for next year and beyond

1200Datto27 has a lot of promise if they can keep it on the circuit!
Will Skaife have that much of a say, now that Tom's back in place?

oh im sorry, i cant race in your shiney new red car, ive got a drive in the development series. i think not.

never underestimate a clause in a contract that say you can get out if a main series drive is offered.

Looking at all possibilities for Todd Kelly and without a hell of a lot of contracts torn up i think the most likely place if he moved would be to Perkins.
