McWilliams to BSB with Monstermob?
www.crash.net reports that Monstermob boss Paul Bird has made a offer to Moto GP factory Aprilla rider Jeremy McWilliams "that he cant refuse" for next year. Will be intresting to see if McWilliams comes back to BSB or would prefer being a back marker in Moto GP. McWilliams has also been linked to WSBK regarding a possible ride in 2005. Anyone have any ideas as to who might want him in WSBK?

Really I'd love to see he and Shaky stay in MotoGP, but BSB would be a good opportunity to win a title before retiring. He doens't seem especially motivated by money though, so he might need a promise of competitiveness - and considering that Honda have 3 full factory machines, he may not get it.

Think the offer you guys are talking about was also made to SHane Byrne. Sjakey though and Jezza for that matter have been testing the new Apriloia that should have been debuted in Jerez!
Think they are both probly waiting on Piaggios decission to carry on with GP team or not. Jezza would find it tough y'know in BSB, think he couls also get a ride in States with AMA Aprilia team. As for Shakey, lord only knows, think he will stay with the Priller, maybe only one bike? |

I don't think they did last year, not as a factory effort at least.

I dont if this is true or not bu Aprilia were looking to run in AMA, a bit like Austin used to and Vance and Hines, not a full factory effort but maybe using updated bikes from the WSB team.
It was to be funded privately I am sure, maybe more info on the American sites, I will have a look and see if there is any news, was a strong possibility though I think |

2002 in fact, so it'd be fairly aged technology, and certainly not guaranteed to be competitive in private hands. It might be a pointless endeavour really.
