Rallye Sunseeker, in the Forest.
Team Circuitmarshal will be in Ringwood Forest, stages 7 & 13, Mount Ararat & Plumley Wood, posts 1/14 & 22/35.
It's a spectator area also a double sided post so if your there give us a wave or a shout. Get there at the right time and the kettle will be on. If you are out in the woods on Saturday stay safe & have a good one. |

The Sunseeker is normally a well supported event, is there an entry list anywhere online for this years?
Have fun in the forests |

Thanks
Looks like a good entry with some serious bits of kit out to play, should be a cracking event. |

Quite a few Irish crews and I see Spain and Iceland there as well very serious entry.
Land Rover types can some times brighten up things towards the end of the field. So see you there then Bert? |

Unfortunately not it's one of those events that I really must try and get to at some point though. My first trip out into the forest this year will be marshalling on the rally of kent in a few weeks time.

Not been able to do the Rally of Kent for the last few years but good event though.
Used to do Begbury as that was 'my end' of of the world. |

K A and she who must be obeyed will be there all weekend working with Phil in the Service Area. Those taht know Maggie and I will understand how we are trying to expnad our motorsport from Rallycross Racing Sprinting and Endurance racing to Rallying but WHY do we find it so slow and I have to say at times boring.

Good luck to fellow Cumbrian & former bosses son Paul Bird in the Stobart backed Subaru Impreza WRC, who's gonna win this year, or so he says on his website

That's quite a healthy entry list.
Pete is that your recommended spectator point? What's it like for photos? |

All 4 post numbers are the same place as it's double sided.
Stage 7 post 22 sweeping left post 35 is 90 left to finish. Stage 13 running opposite way, post 1, 90 right post 14 sweeping right. Judging buy last year there were a few cameras all day, so I guess going by the fact they stayed there it's OK. So if you get there let me know. |

Thanks!
It appears from the site above that there are several spectator points? The carparks look too far apart to be for the same point. |

Our point is just in from the finish of stage 7 or the start of stage 13 after the turn around.
Hope this helps. |

SS 7 & 13 Are in the capable hands of Farnborough District Motor Club, with help from www.circuitmarshal.com Well some body has to make the tea!
Pete did forget to say that he has the best radio crew on his junctions all day. The red Volvo in a state aka Farnborough 2 are there with him. |

From what I've heard (parents down there, we didn't make it) Andy Burton was in third after SS7 but had his suspension collapse (since fixed and sorted), and the garden stages last night were very wet. No other real news I've heard, this is just from texts from my Dad in the forest!

Good result for Steve Perez. What happened to Andy Burton and Tony Jardine?

Andy Burton had Transmission problems at TC10 and Tony Jardine went out early with a Trackrod failure.

Very good day.
Yet again from our point of view very well run event. Field kitchen working overtime prior to start of stage then again at lunch time. Our post getting a bit busy last two years, last year one through the straw bales managed to turn round and keep going minus a few bits, but this year different car but same team stopped at the tree in the middle big time. So next year third time lucky nothing to do! No hello's from forum members that we can remember so did no one come for a look at the motley crew, or maybe you did and kept quiet? |

Didn't make it down despite being local must try harder next year. Great result for Morrow shame Andy Burton didn't make it to the finish. Some nice Video clips here.

Here's a few pictures I took at scrutineering on Friday:-
http://motorsport-marshal.spaces.live.com/ Enjoyed my involvement with officiating at scrutiny and then marshalling at the pier end of the Lower Gardens for SS1 & SS2. Long day but great fun. |
