Race Car Decals
Hi Chaps, I'm currently rebuilding a Dolomite Sprint for the track and require some help with the decals that I want.
The car is white and I want to put Stripes down the side similar to the works cars of the 70's but instead of Red white and blue, the same design but in the red white and green Castrol colours, with the obligitory 'Leyland Cars' too. Originally I was looking at getting all the stripes and words etc. sign written but saw at the 74MM that most of the similar cars had decals. I asked a couple of fellas, mechanics etc. if they knew who had supplied them but to no avail. The companies I have approached can only do the lettering if the height is a function of the length meaning that say a 22" long word would automatically be 3" high: I was after something more like 22x4.5. Would anyone have any thoughts please? Cheers! |

I'd have thought any local signwriting company could cut vinyl to whatever size you want? After all they do custom text work all the time for tradesmens vans etc etc.
Can't say for sure though - our car is signwritten |

You could try asking Allan Weyman on here or contact him at Cadart.com He's a racer and understands better than most what we need.
