Circuit with Banked curve
A few moments of borebom results in an F1 style 12 corner circuit. The kicker being Turn 7 which isn't just cambered but banked similar to a US oval. At the apex banking is 24 degrees, which is the same as Darlington International Speedway (23 at one end and 25 at other) or Lowes Motor Speedway in Charlotte (24 at both ends).
The Prime overtaking positions would be at turn 1 (possibly turn 2 for a switchback), Turn 6 and Turn 9. A last lap lunge at turn 12 might also be possible. The purple areas indicate Grandstands, with the blacklines indicating large TV screens. The screens between turns 5 and 6 are viewable to the Turn 9 and turn 12 grandstands. I really like that actually & I recon T7 would really be something to see. Would love to see champcars run on that track!

F1, Champcars or Touring cars. I'd like to think that most series could race well on this design.
Given that in the States, their AMA Superbike series run oval/infields, what does anyone think about Motorbikes running on this circuit? |
