Does anyone have the dates for the 2002 UK F3 winter series? What circuits are they racing at?

Sounds good. The Silverstone meeting on Nov 9th is the traditional Silverstone winter raceday, normally having a round of the winter Formula Ford series as the main race.
Lets hope we have 2 dry days. |

Sounds like a good couple of meetings. Anyone got any idea about entry fees for the public? If the Rockingham one's free like last year's Renault Winter Series, that'd be great.

Can anyone confirm the Silverstone programme? I heard that it consisted of F3, FFord, 1950s Sportscars and the Bill Taylor one hour race...

I know for a fact that Sweeney have signed Ernesto Jose Viso to drive one of their cars in the Winter Series. Viso drove for Manor in FRenault this year, in case you didn't know, coming 21st in the championship.
I Think Fortec may be running Danny Watts & Jamie Green, and that Promatecme may run Richard Antinucci |

just a quick ?. Would the budget for the winter series on a per round basis differ much to that of a championship round? Does anyone know a rough amount it would cost to do the F3 winter series as i can remember the formula renault winter series sounding pretty cheap?
Thanks Ringo |

Anyone know if there will be any TV coverage of the F3 winter series? If this becomes a regular championship it would be a great opportunity for the F.Renault drivers etc to used to more power before a full season.

It's looking doubtful that the races will go ahead by the sounds of it. According to today's MN teams are struggling to fill their seats.
"We don't have a huge entry yet," admitted FOTA boss Jeremy Lord. "It's likely that we'll open up the entry to late-model ARP F3 cars in an invitation class." Sounds like code for maybe half a dozen cars if you ask me... Rob Austin and Jose Ernesto Viso are confirmed, Oli Playle is a maybe in his Duma-11/10ths run F302. Beyond that, I don't know of any other entries. |
