Adrian Newey to the Royal Ballet of Canada
Adrian Newey, interviewed between acts of "Swan Lake" at the Royal Ballet School of Winnipeg, coyly adjusted his blond wig and settled his tutu at a more seemly angle, and answered this reporter's question with "Well, it makes a change, doesn't it?" before rising on his toes to join the Corps de Ballet for the Third Act.
Kleenex trucks have been seen heading in the direction of Woking, but nothing should be inferred from this. |

However, Newey's appearance was countered by a statement released by Moscow's Bolshoi Ballet, which stated that he had signed an exclusive contract to dance 'The Nutcracker' with them until 2005.
An expert commented, 'The whole thing beats me'. Last edited by garyegrant; 1 Jun 2001 at 17:18. |

Nope. He's going to the British Touring Car Championship. John B&Q snared him with the promise of an advantageous deal on wood flooring and all the loft cladding he can eat.

Last I heard AMC the makers of the Pacer and Eagle were going to enter a team into the F1 circus with Newey as cheif designer.
Newey was quoted as saying "The pacer really doesn't need a lot of work. The design of the rearend already provides more downforce than the Arrows, and the engine with a bit of tuning sounds like it running under traction control without any TC while still putting out more power than the Benneton." Rumor has it the driver lineup is already set with Tarso Marques leaving Minardi and Gaston Mazzacane driving the #2 car. Of course this is all still just rumor but the press release should be out soon. And we ALL believe press releases. |

An unexplained rise in the value of Kleenex stock sent the stock market soaring to close at its highest level ever. When asked for an explanation, Alan Greenspan said, "Got something to do with a guy named Newey, they told me."
