Worst liveries in 2016
1. WTR Corvette DP (detested this livery on the Corvette, although it appears it might work with the Cadillac DPI) 2. BMW M6 GTE 3. Toyota LMP1 (should go back to blue) 4. AF Corse Ferrari GTE Pro (too much going on, simple Ferrari red like Risi please) The one car it is almost impossible to make look ugly no matter how bad the livery is: Mercedes AMG GT3 |

Corvette's 2003 livery was a disgrace.

...I kind of like these. The Highcroft green kinda screwed up the Banana Joe's livery, but that was just one season. The solid red Gainsco McLaren looked... solid. I wouldn't say that Gannasi livery was a favorite but not bad.

Well the famous Pink Pig was without doubt one of the worst liveries ever, but at the same time one of the best, it will certainly be classified as one of the best remembered porsche 962's and i am proud to say i watched it race many times. At both classic and modern sportscar events you can still buy models and prints of the car and it's popularity far outweighs the success it had on the track

The pink pig was a 917?? Surely?
I thought the Champion Audi R8 was a horrendous livery actually. Though you got used to it. And some of the more modern Porsche and Audi liveries are so bitty and scrambled. When you compare to the pure silver and yellow or red of the R8 and early diesels. Controversially here, I never though much of the BMW art cars either. Much preferred the standard BMW colours or something like BASF on an M1. Nissan Skyline GTR 2wd in pink was awful. And some of the 360 and 430 Ferrari's are a horrible mess of colours that look like me doing modern art! |

I am not a fan of that gas monkey logo on the green background, looks absolutely out of place.

Despite being a huge fan of this car, I have to admit sometimes the liveries were terrible...

How dare anyone poke fun at the Red Dragon and any Corvette ever
The Art Cars are like art: eye of beholder but I've mostly liked them because they were different. And speaking of different, I've always liked the Pink Pig. I'll get to researching and post some of my favorite uglies.... |

I actually like the Porsche 919 livery - I guess to each his own. It was/is a livery that was new and different. That is part of the enjoyment of the start of a new season in motorsport - all of the new liveries.

The liveries that don't do anything for me is the current F1 designs. Most of them are devoid of any sponsors - look like club racing.

I just did a search for "worst sportscar livieries of all time" and found a couple. Interestingly, the Pink Pig was mentioned. Funny how the wild ones can be "confusing" but certainly polarizing.
Here's a Chevy powered March 83G, run by privateers Kenper Miller and David Cowart in 1984 IMSA GTP. It is a fun take with a sponsor and as previously mentioned, I like red and white, but ummmmm. Awesome or Hideous? http://bringatrailer.com/2013/10/24/...msa-march-83g/ The other was whoever ran this at the N'ring 24: Hey whoever can help buy fuel, I reckon... |

Awesome on account of intakes being leaping fish.
We need more intakes painted like fish in sports car racing today |

Am never a fan of art on racing cars, it rarely works well, as I said before I always thought the BMW art cars looked a little odd and tacky, perhaps the point.
Art looks best on a wall. AS far as I recall some of the Rondeau's in the 70's and 80's had some truly awful LM sponsor liveries, this I know from playing a mod on Rfactor!!! Maybe because the car itself was hardly nice looking thing! Only in Belga livery. |

Generally I find any car that has a naked woman on a bit pathetic and poor. Goes along with my feelings on grid girls really. The Honda Earth car has to be nominated. Other than looking horrible, the whole concept of it was ridiculous. |
