Forum Upgrade and Private Messages

We sill shortly be upgrading to a brand new forum system which will add many, many new features - to the user interface, as well as the admin section which is great news for me and the other admins

Whilst we will be able to import all member data and forum posts, we will sadly be unable to import stored private messages so we ask that you take a copy of any important messages stored by copying them to your own PC. We apologise for this inconvenience, but we believe it will be well worth it in the long run. We are sure you will agree when you see the new software.

We should also take this opportunity to announce that there will be a small amount of forum downtime whilst this upgrade takes place. To alleviate this problem as far as possible, we will endeavour to make the upgrade during our traditionally slack periods.
