Masters Historic Racing Le Mans 80 +

Well this was unexpected but brilliant news. The new owners of Masters Historic starting to make there mark.

Following last weekend's announcement in the Zandvoort paddock, we are thrilled to officially announce the launch of a new series for the 2025 race season, catering for Group C cars from 1982 to 1993. Masters Le Mans 80+ is set to debut at a select number of key Masters events from the 2025 season onwards!

Stay tuned for more exciting updates on this new grid! We’ll be revealing the race formats, the highly anticipated calendar, and the technical details that will make this series a must-watch for all Group C and GTP car enthusiasts soon. The countdown to the 2025 season has begun. ?

Interesting news tho I am unsure as to how they'll get decent healthy grids with the established series running with Peter Auto struggling to even get a grid at Spa.

This seens to just add more congestion tho it'll mean Group C will probably be at Silverstone next year for the Classic. Look forward to seeing what comes out.

This of course is a result of the new ownership, given the grid and name were at the Dubai Historic which the new owners ran
