Conway gets pole for second race and Jakes is in second spot. Jakes is having quite a good weekend so far.

Congrats to Conway and to Dale Coyne. Bad luck on Briscoe, going out like that.

I'm happy they just left it a local yellow for Briscoe, and let the guys finish.
Conway was definitely in a place all his own today. He took pole for Race 2 in the morning, and was the class of the field for most of the race. It's too bad that Viso had the turbo boost issue today. I hope they have that fixed for tomorrow. I'm glad to see Helio being a model of consistency; I'd like to see him get a win or two, along with a title. |

Way to go Coyne and Conway! Great race today and great action.
Wow! No wins for Penske or Gnassi yet this year. Rolex race even was fairly entertaining. Yaccaman, to the principals office ! |

Well, didn't Conway just make them all look silly today. When he's on it, boy is he on it.
Re:- Yaccaman: I see his only words on the subject on twitter were '#senna'. Quite rightly he is getting eaten alive for it. What a plank. |

Man is Indycar competitive this year. Driver's racing for the win one race barely can keep up the next race. I don't see any favorites for the championship so far.
I can't believe how poorly Will Power has been doing this year. After dominating the street/roadcourses for 3 years he can barely get near the front. And when he does some catastrophic incident takes him out. And I keep expecting Bourdais to make his way to the front but he's having an even worse year. |

I just saw the highlights video of the 1st Detroit race. Wow! Just wow! Mike Conway in the 2nd Coyne car won it. I'm all smiles over this. It's just great.
It feels unreal to see the 2nd Coyne car win anything but they did. They really did. It was a very deserved win, too. Congrats to Mike Conway for his 2nd victory. And they are on the Pole for the 2nd race. Good luck. |

Well casual fans in the US could have seen the multiple promos during Indy or during this week on ABC. Wasn't as promo'd as the Fox Sports 1 change or baseball but still was out there for US fans.

Fatigued drivers trying harder on a difficult circuit equals problems.
However, anybody who claims that the guys can't have good dices on this circuit is full of it! |

Amazing run by the safety car driver in this race, after his Indianapolis 500 victory we knew he could win a race, but not dominate like he's doing today at Detroit.
I expect he'll lead half the laps and win at Toronto. |
