Honda to enter DTM?
Only a rumour, but it has been said that Honda could be entering the DTM next year with the US Acura RSX concept. The rumour has been denied by Honda, but a version of the car has been made by its motorsport arm and the rumour had to come from somewhere. Unlikely that it will happen, but it would be good to see a new face in the DTM for the first time in 2 years.

Would this be a factory team or a private team? If it was a factory team, it would probably have to be funded wholely by Honda Germany wouldn't it, like Honda UK will have to fund the BTCC effort, as Honda Europe has already committed to building 8 Civics for the ETC.
Whatever happens, another manufacturer can only make it better, although the series may be starting to run out of grid space, isn't the field limited to 26 cars. |

So that would make them the first Japanese manufacturer in the DTM. Too bad nothing came of the Toyota rumors back in the mid 90s. I really wonder how close Toyota was to racing in the series with their Supras? Any ideas??
