John Watson should be qualifying in the top 10 on the grid
Cadwell Park Thanks

Many thanks to all who supported and helped out at Cadwell Park today for the CSCC Race Meeting. Although I never saw or even spoke to any one from the CSCC, I am sure that they would also wish to convey their thanks. I know the Clerks certainly thank you all for carrying out your duties in a most excellent and professional manner under some very gruelling weather conditions, ( it was bl***y hot), which ensured that you all had a reasonable lunch break and a 5.45pm finish. The grids were pretty good, a lot of good racing, some very impressive and very fast machinery, which led to a very enjoyable day, I hope that you all enjoyed your day as well.

Dogsbody got off pretty lightly, he only had three duties, one of which meant he spent some of the time swanning around in a pick up truck!

We worked it out that the Senior Clerk had the most hats on today, but I will let his Brother explain those details later.

To everybody there, a job well done, thank you.

And very happy I was too that Sir General Overscrapper was busier than I was...

....somebody needed to be as I kept having to interrupt my listening to that other race to speak to someone on the radio!

Hopefully, there will be even more folks with more jobs than me at future meetings (see MSV web site for full details and PM John Watson to volunteer !!!!! PLEASE )

First thank you from Sir General Overscrapper (I will now have to have all my shirts embroidered again with my new name). to all for a job well done. I hope everyone enjoyed the racing (it was probably better than that other clubbie at Silverstone anyway) .
Just to add to the list of duties: all results had to be checked and signed before issue. The only objection was no females won races so there were no tongues all day .
Anyway as previously said Dogsbody will take his mantle back soon (with my help sooner than later) we don't want toys out of the pram do we!

It sounds like I missed a good meeting, or is it that it was a good meeting because i wasn't there.

Not going to answer that one Pete. Actually Dogsbody did have another couple of jobs. Looking after the poorly driver & clearing up after poorly driver.
Don't think Cadwell will like you calling their new fire truck a pram though Chris.

Thoroughly enjoyed myself too. Thanks to Dogsbody for making sure I didn't get too lonely & end up talking to myself!! Hope the repairs to the multiple pile-up won't be too costly!! What a nice friendly bunch of drivers in the Northern Saloons, Roll on next week.

Had a good day too, and yes the Northern saloons were a friendly bunch, even those involved in the first corner Mishap remained friendly.

and here I am doing my best NOT to be top-dog....

....will someone please take note that the plan still has to be zero jobs and lots of fun...

(btw Joyce: you are very welcome, I tend to go a little stir crazy with no-one to talk to too).
