Cheap Sandisk Compact Flash Cards

Just thought I would mention this if you don't know already.
mymemory.co.uk are selling refurbished Sandisk Compact Flash memory cards.

Ultra 11 512mb card for £17.99
Standard 512mb card for £15.99
prices are plus p&p

Both have a one year warranty. These seem a good bargain has anybody bought refurbished cards?
Were they any good or is it a case of stay well away?

I'm not sure how you can 'refurbish' a memory card......just format it & give it a quick spray with contact cleaner? Sounds better than 'used', though!

Thats what I thought, perhaps they are not sold in the normal OEM packaging, the Ultra 11 card sounds a good deal for that price.

Business as usual

They could also be "NDFs", did not pass final inspection but were subsequently re-tested and found to be ok (No D fect Found). That would be the reason for `generic' packaging as mentioned previously.
