Insurance
I posted this question in the 'Road Car Forum' and it was suggested I should post it here as well as many rally drivers also need insurance to get from stage to stage.
I'm sure this topic must have been discussed before but couldn't find anything. I race in a 'road standard' championship and would like to use my car on the road as well. As soon as I mention the words 'roll cage' or 'race car' most insurance companies refuse to even quote. All I'm after is simple third party fire and theft cover that will allow me to drive to and from local circuits for track days, run the engine in after rebuilding, or just enjoy my car rather than leave it in the garage gathering dust between races. I don't want track/event cover. Anybody know of insurance companies that may help? Thanks for reading. |

Get a motorsport news. Always competition car insurance companies advertisements in there.

I use Adrian Flux (Comp Car Insurance) for mine. Its a full race spec rally car. Cage, 6" ish arch extensions etc and they had no problems with it...
