Spectating Dilema

August 3rd is my birthday and I'm torn as to where to go.
I had planned visiting Prescott but have since seen there is a Historic Sportscar Festival at Donington...now I'm in turmoil...help

is my memory playing up on me but isnt this meeting normally held at Castle Combe? I saw that it had moved to Donington, anyone know why?

yes its a full HSCC meeting which are always good - just Castle Combe is a nice circuit. Sadly it clashes with a parental duty for me, so pony club it will be!! This weekend at Brands will be the best HSCC this season - in my opinion up there with BRDC 75th and possibly better!

well if you are going to Europe by car you can rescue the situation and divert to Chimay - its a real shame the two clash

Why not go to Prescott and save your historic fix until the end of August and come up to Oulton for THE historic event of the year. The HSCC/Gold Cup meeting is on over the BH weekend and celebrates Oulton's 50th Anniversary too!

wellllllllllllll I already am (see post about camping in Trackside forum)
The Prescott meet is a VSCC bash...but I was also going to the VSCC Harewood climb the Saturday of the Gold Cup Meeting so I think..for conveniences sake I'm erring towards Donington as its only 40 miles away and as its my b'day I dont really want to be doing too much driving (dont worry I NEVER drink & drive)
