Different thread - different game

Looks like Codemasters have (or are working on) a licence to get the FIA GT, Rally and Formula One championships added to the next incarnation of this game! (Or maybe it's just one of their graphics teams dreams anyway).

Still worth a look.

(Shame no E/WTCC or BTCC though?)

That really would be something else, but Sony has the exclusive rights to F1 and WRC. Sadly.

It would be nice to see the full size images, as it would go some way to show the quality of the artwork on the box. Which would help in working out if the pictures are genuine or not.

I'd prefer it if they stuck to a proper Touring Car game.

BTCC, ETCC, V8s, DTM etc etc plus some lower 'tin-top' categories, enough of this 'Masters Grand Prix' and so on nonsense.

I really want the game as it looks so varied and amazing (like the last game) but their omission of the BTCC in the last game was a disgrace and that looks like its going to continue.

It appears that Formula Palmer Audi will also feature in the game going on what they say in the advert for the championship. Good to see some National championships getting a bit more publicity

Spoke to my contact at codemasters, and this is what he said about those pictures.

I really enjoy the last TOCA game. I'd love to see some historic touring cars in there eg. RS sierra, escorts, TWR jags especially round bathurst. Would like to see some more british tracks, big fan of croft but I'm biast as that's my local circuit
