Top NASCAR driver
IMHO Dale Earnhardt Jr is and will be the top driver on the NASCAR circuit this year. He is following in his father's footsteps and will become a legend in due time. Who do you think the top driver is?? Check out info on Dale E. Jr. on his sponsor's website

He has some catching up to do if he is to get to the top of the standings. While he's still a Chase For The Championship contender he is still outside of the top 10.
Personally I would like to see Tony Stewart or Jeff Gordon at the top. |

To be a top driver you need a top team and Jr dosn't have that. They have bounced back a little since the start but i think there are some deep underlying problem at DEI.

I have to agree with with the other guys JJ and his team are so consistant and it shows in their results. You have to look at some of the other teams as well. Rusty's running good, Martin is pretty strong at most tracks, Biffle is hot of late Gordon is strong and a few others are having better then average seasons so far. Sorry BigAdam he may be your favorite driver but i hardley think he's the best.
