Wichita Street Circuit
I decided to add a Wichita street circuit, as I think the city needs to be made more well-known.

I'm afraid that does absolutely nothing for me.
As I've said before I'm not a fan of street circuits, so I won't even attempt an edit. |

That piece that rus along W 22nd St N, from the Satellite View, looks like it's cutting through some guy's driveway. It appears that Google Maps, which gmap-pedometer is based on, is wrong again. i'm pretty sure some guy won't allow some racing series to use his driveway as a track. The noise would be a bit unbearable.

If the track stays on 21st, there shouldn't be a problem with the roads themselves. Now, your course is definitely going to create a real headache for that part of town using a mile or more each of four major streets. The main thing though, like others have said, is the course doesn't look that interesting. It would be a little better than the old Philip Island street circuit, but I think you'd have to count on the scenery around the Arkansas River and the high rises along 13th to save this circuit bacon from looking totally boring on the ground (you only kind of skirt downtown with this circuit and don't really run through much of the parkland around the river).

This is the most boring, pointless and worst track I have ever seen.

Oh, I think you'd get some slipstreaming. And the curved portions where the major streets go around parts of the river could be challenging. However, the circuit overall does seem rather unteresting, at least in plan form.
As far as the roads go, there could be some problems in that I'm not sure if there are places where the concrete islands would force the track width down to two lanes (then again, I think there are some rather narrow spots at Durban, South Africa and Villa Real, Portugal, not to mention Monaco). |

The plan view is very uninspiring. It's Kansas, so there isn't much in the form of elevation changes present. Logistically, it's a nightmare;this layout would be cutting off hundreds of houses from the rest of the city for the duration of a race meeting. I just can't imagine much interest in what I have available here, since it really is unsuitable for any category of racing car today.
