Who will you be supporting in 2002?
Someone has probably already started this thread somewhere but... Who will you be supporting in 2002? Don't care who, doesn't matter why.
Me... Minardi - the new car rocks, and we're gonna score some points. I hope. Kimi Raikkonen - of course! Arrows - They have Frentzen AND Enrique driving for them, of course I'm going to support them. Renault - The car looks lovely. Is that shallow? Sauber - No Kimi but they're still great. |

Ralf, Monty, Villeneuve and Fishi. No different from last year.
As for Coulthard, I have promised myself that I will not jump on the "this is his year" bandwagon as I have in the past. Well maybe, not exactly "this is his year" but more like "He can someday be World Champion". But at any rate I have vowed never to do it again!. |

Ferrari
Michael Ralf Montoya Webber Minardi I want Michael and Ferrari to win, but I want them to have to fight for it this year. I hope it goes to the wire. Williams and the boys will also have my support, as if anyone else other than Michael has to win, this team and these two drivers are fighters and deserve it. Go the Aussie's - good luck Mark |

Anyone who can beat TGF (well that's no-one then).
Minardi -because this year could be thier year. BAR - Panis and Villeneuve are two good drivers, but the car's not quite up to it. |

Heidfeld, first and foremost. Having supported him since F3000, I'm not changing allegiances now! Young, fast, future champion.
Webber (finally an Aussie to support!) JPM (excitement guaranteed) Fisichella (deserves a break) Minardi (legends) Sauber (4th again!) BTW, I will not be supporting Kimi Raikkonen. He is certainly not, and will never be, another Mika Hakkinen..... |

A bit different from last year since Jos is no longer around.
But Fisi is still there, and so is Heidfeld. I don't need to explain why I support these two, do I? I will also keep supporting Button, but silently. First people are all over him, then he gets an uncompetative car and all of a sudden he is the lowest of the lowest. I don't like that. He'll have a decent car this year and I expect him to show us some nice results. And then I'll cheer, silently because I don't want to do the "I told you so thing". But I did (tell you). As for teams, Ferrari don't need much support from me. They're the greatest and they'll always be. And I'm happy for them. Arrows can rot in hell. Too bad they've got two nice drivers. And too bad they seem to have a decent car this year. I hope the malaka hex works. Hmm, it's the first time I want someone to have a bad season. |

I'll be supporting in this order:
1) BAR - Villeneuve's the man and I have quite a bit of respect for Panis, a true gentleman. David Richards, good businessman with a racer's heart. BAR will come good! And don't count out Honda, not being at the front does not rest lightly on their shoulders. 2)Montoya - A great talent who appears to really enjoy his job! A pleasure to watch race. 3)McNish - A good racer who's ship has finally come in. Would like to see him do well, just to show that F1 does not always have the best in their fold and that they do miss out on some real talent. 4)Stoddart - never been a Minardi fan, but I do like this guy, he works hard and I would like to see his efforts pay off. |

Ferrari - as always they deserve all their success - they work hard and they've not only gotten to the top - but they`ve managed to stay there and dominate. So, Ferrari will have my support as always!
Michael - what can one say. He's the best - of all time. His dedication is unbelievablke and if Ferrari can provide him with a decent enough car - he'll take the title yet again. Pure genius. Ralf Schumacher - He's got a lot of ability and this could be his season. He won 3 brilliant races last season and set the tone for Williams for 2002. He`s a future World Champion - could 2002 be his year? I believe it could. Williams - Despite having Patrick Head as a partner - I still support Frank Williams. He`s a true racer and since he attaches such great importance to the constructors title - I hope the combo of Ralf and Montoya would get the title for him. |

Ferrari - Love the cars so enough said
M Schu - Great driver worthy of anyones support Rubens - In a Ferrari plus i've always liked him anyway JPM - This guy is gonna be huge! A real racer and knows what he's talking about. The best driver since Senna? Massa - I've been impressed so far and hopefully he can carry this through the season. Potential WDC. Heidfeld - Good driver, quick and consistent. Battle with team mate should be a good one. Sauber - I've mentioned the drivers but the team does a great job and is improving all the time. One of the few true privateers. Minardi - Well their the underdogs. Also I'd like to see as many drivers and teams as possible scoring points. |

I'm sure it comes as no surprise to find out that I'll be supporting Ralf. But apart from him, I'll be supporting de la Rosa, Heidfeld, Raikkonen and Webber. And of course Minardi!

Michael and Ferrari - The Holy Roman Empire
Fisi - The time is near for the Roman to emmerge Ralf - Don't think anyone has ever had the psycological pressure he has. Brother a generational champ, teammate seemingly destined to be the next. Rubens - Underrated JPM - Hope the Monster lives up to some of the hype Jos the Boss- whereever he is Webbahhh! - National pride |

Drivers: J.Villeneuve, J.Button, Montoya (just cause he's gonna win this year and I like him better than Ralf) |

Doesn't it seem sad that drivers like Fisichella, Coultard, Barrichello, and Ralf all have secure seats in F1, despite having had race winning cars for many more seasons than Jacques, yet failing to chalk up as many wins as he (let alone a WDC) that it is Jacques who doesn't have a drive in F1??? Sad indeed. |
