No More spaces on Borg Warner Trophy
Gil De Ferran just took the last spot on the borg warner trophy (the base was added in 1986, space ran out in 2003). Does anyone think they'll keep adding on to the original, or have a whole new trophy??????????????????

It'll be expanded, _unless_ Tony George finds a big sponsor who wants to pay millions for a new trophy.

I really can't imagine that trophy not being part of the 500, mostly cause its been there for nearly 80 years, so I'd agree with the expanding too.

As everything at the Indy 500 is about tradition, it is most likely that an additional base ring will be added, opening spaces to cast (actually to machine, and not to cast, for the engineers amongst us...) the faces of future winners.

As long as they keep giving out the Stanley Cup, they'll be giving out the Borg-Warner Trophy.
