The good thing about Legends is that once bought, the cars are very cheap to maintain. Sealed engines, limited mods, and tyres that are rock hard and can last 2 seasons if you're careful. You just need an oil change every 1 or 2 meetings.
The bad thing about Legends is that the cars are expensive to buy... You're looking at £10k to buy 2nd hand, and new ones can cost £14-£17k. However, there are plenty of people willing to hire them, as I've already explained in my PM to you |

You can hire for around £600 to £700 per meeting. You will find most of the Legends drivers very approachable and they will help you out if you are serious about getting into Legends racing. Have a peek on www.legends-cars.com for more detail.

If you look at web sites from the usa,try n w usa,for example, the cars are not as expensive as in uk,they can be shipped in at reasonable cost,is there some form of exclusivity that you can only buy from the organisers?

Depends whether you want to race on the circuits or on the small ovals. Don't know much about the circuit racing but checkout the previous mentioned website.
As far as the Oval Legends are concerned these are imported by Derek Hales. The championship is run by Mark Bond at Incarace. Mark organised a test a few years ago for me and I then agreed a drive with a team but was let down when the car was sold! Try either of these sites www.incarace.co.uk or www.oval-legends.co.uk |

An hour TV coverage of each round as well. Top quality racing on Sky Sports last night, even my Dad was thoroughly impressed.

Circuit Legends are at Brands Hatch for the Motorsport News Flat Out At 50 meeting. Eight races in total over the two days for the Legends.

Me too, don't forget to give us marshals a wave as you go by on your formation lap.

Does anyone know on what level might be the costs of single race weekend with one practice day included on arrive and drive type of renting agreement either a) for Legends UK Barc series or b) for the Oval series?
