Rumour has it JM López could fulfill his desire to be part of Le Mans 24H next year.

I'm going to struggle not to having been away for three years and watching on enviously. I've tended to favour the Nurburgring and Spa 24s in recent years, because I can do both for the same price as one Le Mans and they're much better spectator tracks, but it's about time to do the big one again.

Sadly not next year, unless I have enough resources left over once I return from a big trip to Australia that should revolve around the Bathurst 12 Hour in early February next year. Final decision in March next year, but it's highly unlikely and I'm likely to watch 2016 from home.
With a view to being back in 2017. |

Weighing things up I suspect balance of probability says we'll be there. Quite like it being shunted a week later too - makes it doing Le Mans alongside one or two other things potentially possible.

Planning to be back for number six next year - touch wood.
If you're planning to go with an agency it can't hurt to register your interest ASAP. You likely won't have to pay anything yet, and tickets for camping and grandstands just seem to sell out earlier and earlier. |

In the weeks leading up to Le Mans, I was worried that I was expecting it to be so good that it wouldn't live up to expectations...
Well it exceeded my expectations and I hope to be back next year!! |

Count me in - and if the date comes back a bit, that makes a glorious holiday a possibility. Just think - Le Mans 24 hours to start the trip, couple of weeks exploring France, and then Le Mans Classic on July 5/6 to finish it off.
I'd better get selling some books, I think. |
