Safe Plate
http://www.presentsformen.co.uk/brow...m.asp?id=11654
Has anybody used this stuff? I'm pretty sceptical about whether it's effective or even legal. If anybody has any knowledge on it, please post forth |

There's only one way to find out if it works.... and I wouldn't want to try it!
Avoid like the plague. It's cheaper and easier to avoid a fine by not driving too fast past cameras! |

Illegal and ineffective (especially with the growing number of cameras that use infra red instead of flash).

I agree with Garcon about ineffective. Besides, no matter what you do to 'obscure' your plate it can still be read in (I think) 95% of the time.
But give it a go and let us know if it works. |

But the spray would not affect the outward appearance of said plate would it? I have seen a couple of those police, camera, action type programmes where the police car is following a car and the number plate cannot be seen via the police in car camera but is clear to see with the naked eye.... And they were selling the spray stuff @ Autosnort International last weekend so I guess it must be legal to sell the stuff. |

Probably one of those ridiculous legal tangles whereby it's legal to sell it but not to use it on number plates attached to road going vehicles...

You're much better off to
a) Get something like a Roadangel, Origin B2 or other GPS device. b) Don't drive too fast. c) Both |
