I'm wondering the same thing about our meeting at Donington on the 30th.

Whatever happened to the ruling that no other race meetings could be held GP weekend? Haven't they got the sense to realise that there is a finite amount of resources available?

I'll be at Brands Sat/Sun however I saw a couple of names on the attached list of volunteers who I know are going to be at Silverstone. I'll practice sweeping with the left hand and flagging with the right it might come in handy.

Due to the change of date (originally scheduled for late July) the BARC would lovvvvvvvvvvve some assistance over the weekend if possible.Well done Paul, Deley, icorper and Eljay and all who have volunteered so far.

As BARC have been so kind to me in the past (Abu Dhabi GP and Rolls Royce factory visit), it's seemed only right that I should help them.
I presume sign on is around 7.30?

Nick, it's a later start than normal on Saturday, i.e. first practice at 0930. So, sign-on on Saturday is from 0800, PC briefing 0845, on post 0900.

From a spectators point of view, it seemed to run very smoothly. Thanks to all the marshalls who made it possible. A day at Brands was just what I needed. Good racing too. Cheers !

A couple of collisions/red flags we could have done without. hope the MG driver is OK. Sometimes having a few people makes it easier. You know exactly what you have to do and just get on with it.
Well Done to all involved, RC, recovery, assembly, marshals. Finished 20 minutes early for lunch and on time at the end.
Thanks to the drivers for the great races, sorry to those that had damage. Got to miss tomorrow, got to work tomorrow evening. Have fun.

Cracking weekend on Post 2, some great races and brilliant weather, fantastic company made the weekend all the more enjoyable, Thanks to Malcolm, Dawn and Chris for 2 days of fun and jokes and a welcome back to Brands for Charles on the Sunday after a 15 year absence. Hope to see you all again soon.
