Is there an endurance series for older (1980's) saloons???

Hi,
Myself and a few others are looking at Britcar S1 for next year. The current car, an Alfa 33 1.7 8v is too old to enter, so we would have to go the usual route - Civic, Integra, Megane, etc. It's a 1986 model, and is currently built to the Alfa Champs regulations, for Class F. But, these races are only 20 minutes duration.

But, does anyone know of an endurance series where this car could compete? By 'endurance' I mean races of one hour or more, which may or may not include a driver change, ditto for a fuel stop.

Currently, it looks as though the Alfa would have to be sold to provide funds for the Britcar, but I think there's still life in the old dog yet...

I know of a few European series where it is eligible, but anything in the UK would be a better starting point.

Any ideas???

Garrett

Closest thing at present is Tin Tops, for which I think this car is eligible (you may have been out in it already... a few 33s have). Organised by CSCC, but races are less than an hour - although they do include a driver change.

Thanks Ian for plugging TinTops, the races are 40 minutes with 30 minutes qualifying and as stated, you can have 2 drivers or 1 with a compulsory pit stop. Check out the very simple regs on www.classicsportscarclub.co.uk or www.tintops.org.uk where you will aslo find the draft 2006 calendar.
