Student looking for experience
Hi, I'm new to this forum, I'm a first year Motorsport engineering student. I know this sort of topic probably comes up all the time, but I'm looking to gain some practical experience in Motorsport. Does anyone know of any opportunities in Hertfordshire or Hampshire. The only experience I currently have is from riding and racing motocross.
Thanks |

Andy,
You are quite right, it is a common request, so please use the search facility to find where it has come up, and been advised on before. Lots of good advice! Mine is to get on down to the circuit, track, stage or other venue where your chosen discipline is taking place, and tout yourself around the paddock. In your first year, you won't get first line teams taking you on, but it's experience you want, and for now you can offer little more than spanner holding skills. Get in there to Team Anyold and show them what you can do! Good luck! John |

Wow your taking up Motorsport Engineering. I’m also planning to study this, maybe next year. I will wait for other comments here, this thread could help me as well.
