hard choice. But Mercedes made the best of a bad situation, so there you go.

Ferrari. Excellent race and driver management in a tricky situation, which got them the result they needed before the Summer break.

McLaren finally scoring points with both cars. Not something you see everyday. Also Force India scoring points with both cars after a bad qualification

McLaren for taking such a bad car to the end for once, and with both drivers in the points.
Special mention to Ferrari for going back to winning again. |

McLaren got both cars into the points so that's worth a mention - sad times that that's now seen as a good day for the team. Ferrari got the 1-2 so they're a contender, Force India got more points so worth a mention.
What happened to Williams? They looked to be nowhere - was Massa really ill or did he realise just how bad the car was and jet off on holiday early? Sauber managed to qualify a car behind someone that hadn't driven their car before - they're lucky the Williams was so poor this weekend otherwise they'd have been way off the back of the pack. They're back to the bottom of the pile in the constructors table too - and realistically that's where they're staying. |

Kudos to Ferrari and Merc for the first half show but McLaren for me.
Their engine allotment/penalty plan worked brilliantly and they dug themselves out of the basement. Hope it leads to a much better 2nd half. |

I knew lots of people would go for McLaren, but that smells like a sympathy vote to me ("Well done on dragging that shed up to sixth, even if it was on a track which doesn't penalise that gutless Honda lump too much.")
For me it could only be the team that locked out the front row and scored a 1-2. I'll even forgive them the wonky steering on one car. |

Ferrari for managing a difficult situation and using Kimi to protect Vettel.
