MSVR are very short of marshals for this GP circuit meeting, particularly for Fire-truck drivers. If you find you can make either or both days, I am sure Mildred would like to hear from you.

Really looking forward to the MSVR GP weekend, 15th & 16th September, It looks like a proper "Clubby" Just like I like it.
It will be interesting to see if they have managed to put everything back as it was after the cycling, it certainly looked different, even down to having ramp access to the gravel bed at post 24 for public viewing all the way along the start finish straight. We will see.

See you there!

Yes, the good news is there will be 42 cars on the QMN/Cannons grid. Some interesting cars as well, including two V8s and a super touring car.

In the Baby 360 race, please be extra kind to the ladies in car 199.
Claire - the 2nd driver in that car, is a very dear friend of mine.
Thanks

I've never been to the GP, so I'm a bit excited. I'm not sure though does it cost anything to go, also should I bring food etc?

I'm a bit gutted, The "super pro VAG trophy" appears to be Volkswagen/Audi group and not what I expected at all. I wondered how they were going to do that.

Bless you hon.

To say it was a learning curve was an understatement....but I enjoyed every minute of it even if the majority of the time...i was having a blue flag waved at me!!!...still I got the car home...and me ....in one piece...and got third in class!!

I want to thank all the marshals for once again a superb job ...as always you are the heroes in orange...thanks for making me feel safe.

I will thank in here as well as the other thread The lovely Anita...who made sign on a walk in the park and was the greatest co ordinator for us...I cannot thank you and Keith enough

I will also say a special thanks to Mr Green...you are a star as always...and thank you for sorting all the 360 people out and making it run so smoothly down there (Sorry we were soo late with the coach on Saturday)

It was one of the greatest things Ive ever done in my life...and I could not have done it without all you lot here .....so thanks to you ALL again

ta
Claire

The Essex Girls in 199 did really well - On the podium with a 3rd in class .

The four guys from the Nissan Academy did a good job for their first race - only minor first race issues - they don't have to obey flag signals on a PlayStation do they?
It was good to see some 'orange faces' from my past and thanks to Stephen Green and all at MSVR for their help.

A big thank you to the team on P9 over the weekend for a great time - few in numbers but we got through ok including cars off end of session.

Even bigger thank you to our two Taster Day guys who joined us on Sunday - willing to get stuck in during the day and even help out with the cars off end of session. I hope to see them back on the bank soon.

Some great racing over the weekend so thanks to the drivers and teams for that.

See folks around

pleased to help and glad you finished Mike.
I will admit to assuming that all your cooland had blown out & that you were a lost cause, but your passionate pleas were passed on to a caring race control and clerk. It is them that allowed your car back into the race and should also be thanked.

One thing we try to do and it has an effect on where we can race is to get people either back to the circuit or back to the pit to repair and continuen I wasn't clerking it but JohnGee, Nick and Anita all know what we try and do so hats off to them for getting Mike back out there (they deployed the safety car again to do it, and I think the rest of the competitors wouldn't mind that and would hope for the same treatment

Nice work all and thanks again

I'm confused as there are so many threads referring to the 2 hour. ..... but I said the same on another thread and, thank God, agreed with Claire ...... I know my place!
