Montoya given Senna helmet

From Autosport magazine:

Juan Pablo Montoya was presented with a replica of Ayrton Senna's helmet by deseigner Sid Mosca on a recent visit to Sao Pauloin Brazil. "it is a very special gift," said the Williams ace. "Senna was my idol and it was a big surprise to receive a replica of his helmet."

How popular is JPM in Brazil?

So according to my very scientific study...22 of 25 (88%) of Brazilian UNIX administrators love JPM.

M-fan's right Mr. V. It isn't as though we are polarized either-plenty of people here don't loke either Montoya or schumacher. I will even admit that i have great respect for his abilities and think JPM is a real kick to watch... i am not a fan per se. But if he tweeks TGF's nose, I'm all for it.

I was a Hakkinen and HHF man, and will probably root for Heidfeld this year

Well, at current exhange rates, that helmet is about 3700 dollars Canadian, about 2300 dollars U.S. I suppose for the real collector, money is not an issue. I would have one.

If I had the money I'd spend a small fortune on one, but I don't so I can't.

You're right. Rubens is not popular out there, and you won't see any fan club of him, but there are loads of jokes, nick names and critics about him.
To speak the truth, TGF is far more popular than any other driver there, specially because brazilians praise the winners, and TGF fits in Senna's god image. The reasons JPM is rising on brazilians preferences are quite simple:
-JPM's attitude towards TGF (much like Senna's to Prost)
-JPM moves on TGF (Brazil and Austria) (needless to say)
-Colombia, by far, is the most liked country in South America for brazilians.

Personally, I love Colombians, specially females like Natalia Paris !

Brazilians voted for RALF?

Okay, not very many (and that would make things just ducky around Williams Grand Prix if someone were to post it in the Canteen!) but still ...

Thanks facco, I miss you too !

I'm really slowing down this month, but shortly I'll be back full time again.

You mean my italian side ?

About Argentinians females, <ahem>, women are women no matter country are they. But, Colombians seems to be more georgeous and close to brazilian's nature.

But my brazilian side wouldn't want to have a argentinian companion, specially this year !
