No, its not you. I couldn't get the live commentary to work either, but I have just tried again and its working !
BUT, you guessed it - German language only.... Maybe some of our German friends can post updates on whats happening ?? For example, why has the Red Bull Z4 Coupe dropped 7 laps (and a number of places..) ??? |

The Duller BMW Z4 had an engine misfire.
Another big incident so far was an accident between the No. 2 Lechner Porsche and one of the Mulhner Motorsports Porsches. Not much info is coming out of Bahrain - only a few members of the media made the trip.. Last edited by 19dodge; 15 Dec 2006 at 20:45. |

Wow. Seems like an interesting field - more like a 24 hr Touring Car field almost. Shame there's next to zero information about it in the States.

it's a great shame nobody wanted to cover this live. there is almost no motorsport this time of year and some live coverage would be great.
It looks like an interesting field, with the growth of gt3 it seems like there are more competive cars at the front of 24 hour races. Or is that just me? |

Hour 18 update:
Land Motorsport suffered a driveshaft failure, but were very lucky. It happened right at Pit-Out, and they were able to push the car back to the pits, only loosing 10 laps. Meanwhile, the Duller BMW has ongoing issues with "fly-by-wire pedals". This leaves the Konrad Motorsport Porsche in the lead - a 7 lap gap to Duller, then another two laps to Land in 3rd. Six Hours to go! (Go Konrad!! ) |

I got back from this on Sunday morning.
The Duller squad had various problems and ended changing an engine before the race, when it race well it was more than a match of the porsches. The Joe Macari Ferrari went very well and was loud enough to stop me from sleeping The where a few incidents and some robust driving out there, someones BMW left a door on the pit straight which was retrieved and gaffa taped back on! Our Alfa suffered a turbo failure which effectively ended our race as we suspected debris to have been consumed by the engine and didn't want to risk destroying it. It also had the worst rain in 14 years halfway during the race! Manama was flooded that afternoon. It's a hell of a track on tyres as our hire car found out |

The GPR car is a 997 Supercup (not cup), I had a quick email from Tom Cloet who drive the car and said the rain was really bad for a large part of the race. He rated the circuit as well. Archibold |
