Melbourne Weather ..
I know this is Melbourne (where its hard to know whats going to happen this afternoon, let alone next week), but here is the official crystal ball gazer's guess -
"Trend for Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday Fine and hot ahead of a cool and mostly dry change." If, and thats a very big if, he's right it sounds spot on! (Forecasting 34C next Monday) |

With Melbourne Weather... you need to allocate a standard deviation of 15 Degrees to any forecast... even from teh night before !

The chances of F1 being affected by rain have now increased, as they were in 2003.
How many times have we heard on F1 broadcasts "it was pouring down this morning, but is bright a sunny now for the race". With the schedule split over the day, there is a much higher chance of rain affecting play at some point on Sunday. |

Looks like rain again! This should spice things up a bit,but we won't get to see how the dry tyres pan out over both qually sessions and the race.

Showers on Saturday, clearing up for Sunday. But the showers may affect both qualifying sessions. Should be fine for the race, though.

I hope we get a dry weekend really, I want to find out how the single tyre and aggregate qualifying rules are going to work. There are already enough variables and unknowns.

I hope it is dry personally. I'd like a clear indication of where everybody stands before the weekend is out. Well, as clear as you can get with such a grid....

I for one would be glad to see some rain into tomorrows race. I think it would make things really interesting. Well, only a few hours away so I will look forward to it.
