Will Hansen use a C4 for 06?
I was reading in Motorsports News that with the new proposals for non homolgated new current cars Kenneth Hansen would be able to if allowed use a C4 based racer next year.
I hope this will happen as we might see newer shape cars in Rallycross to compete with the new breed cars like Eklund's Saab and such |

There was a rumour (I think in MN???) that Citroen could be back in the WRC in 2007 with a works program using the C4 - if that's on the cards it'll probably increase the likelihood of Hansen running a C4. Could the Citroen factory get invovled in the build of Hansens C4?

Surely help of Citroën would be handy. But I think Kenneth Hansen is able to build one without there knowlege. Like his previous Citroëns it will be different then a WRC anyway (transmission, engine, suspension, brakes, enginelayout) as only the body(parts) are identical. So If he could find enough sponsor I won't see why he could not run the C4 next year. Wether he wants to is another one...
I hope he does! |

I hope he uses the coupe version, the hatchback looks like a focus clone.
He's a brilliant engineer I wonder if he can make it turn into a transformer |

Sorry mate, the C4 is NOT homologated.
Hansen can drive it because Division 1 will accept non homologated cars with an FIA Technical Passport. Citroën will not homologate the C4, but allow FIA to give out this technical passport. |
