Oulton timetable 24th Sept

Anyone know the timetable for Oulton Park tomorrow. I'm looking at going along to watch K&Ns since I'm not competing in it (and watch my championship lead disappear - sob...)

I emailed the BARC to ask why the timetable for this event wasn't on their website.

I received a reply stating that HQ didn't organise the meeting, therefore it would not be appearing on their website!

BARC is BARC isn't it- whether HQ or regional?
The BRSCC put all their meetings on the www regardless of which centre organises!

The BRSCC set the timetables centrally though, by and large. BARC regions do it themselves. Agreed, the regions should probably talk to HQ and vice versa and get the information online.

I understand the meeting was originally going to be at Pembrey and that Oulton was a relatively late venue change. Could explain why it's not mentioned on the BARC site.

There's also a BARC meeting at Pembrey this weekend anyway.

It was on the volunteering forms at the beginning of the year 'cause that's how I volunteered for it.

Isn't it more the case the BARC is less regionalised than the BRSCC in who runs the race meetings. AFAIK, only the NW centres and SE centres organise race meetings themselves, the others only sprints/hill climbs (not counting the Plum Pudding co-organised with BARC Midland).

Thus, most meetings are found on the website as they are run by BARC-HQ, but those that are still regionalised are all done regionally?

The BARC is more regionalised in the sense that more power is divested to the regions, though.

ie. there's less of it, but more control to the region when it happens!
