Reynard 903 history?
Hello
A friend of mine is trying to obtain a FIA HTP for his Reynard F3 #046 and he's having some trouble FIA wants some period documentation of the spec on his car. Does anyone know where to find the spec of the car or any history of the car? Did Reynard have any archive and where is it now? The car is now equiped with a VW engine A spare nose came with a sticker saying "MMP Motorsport" I posted this under the Chassis history category http://tentenths.com/forum/showthread.php?t=122851 |

Is it a 1990 F3 car?
Could you describe what the car looks like in terms of the livery and other things ? |

Adrian Reynard is still around - we asked him for some info on our 883, but he said that he'd have to hire someone to root around the archives at £ 50 per hour, and he couldn't give any idea how long it would take to find the information.
We may have some manuals on the 903. What happened to MMP Motorsport? |

There was a MMP Motorsport run by Martin Phillips around year 2000 running Pilbeam MP84 Le-Mans cars. Could it be the same MMP?

Martin Hadwen's National Motor Racing Archive has the Reynard chassis register :
http://www.motorracing-archive.com/M...-Press-Release , and may be able to help. |

Hello
Yes the car is in F3 spec. I spoke to the owner and he has some "history" all unconfirmed Car is sid to have been in Paul Stewarts F3 team during 1990-91 Then sold on to an investor sometime around 1993 The car sat in a waerehouse until 1995 when it was sold to Norway and have seen little use since the car appears to have been yellow from the beginning the spare sidepods had "Tredair" in blue on them and there was a sticker saying "kingsel" on the nose it seams that MMP might just be a sticker on a spare nose. Close to the filler cap someone has written "PES 6/2-90" with a permanent marker pen I have e-mailed Martin Hadwen's National Motor Racing Archive /Henrik |

Henrik,
I don´t know if I can post this here, because the person I´m talking about has being banned from this forum. But for information about Reynard chassis you can try racecarwarehouse.co.uk for further information about your chassis. Regarding my Reynard 913 he has the factory records to whom it was sold at first. |

Hi
I got it confirmed that Paul Stewart Racing owned chassis #046 along with #15 and #21. Does anyone have any history of PSR Team? Who drove for the team and how did it go and ultimatley who drove which car? I searched th web but could not find any photos. Does anyone know where to find photos of the 1990 PSR Team |

According to MN, Paul Stewart Racing was sponsored by Camel and had Paul Stewart and Derek Higgins.
I will keep digging for more info. Stewart had #5 and Higgins has #6. Last edited by bigears; 7 Jun 2010 at 18:56. |

That's right bigears!
PSR started with Reynard's but switched to Ralt's after about a 3rd of the season as the 903 wasn't upto it (Hakkinen and Salo were slaughtering the field in their RT34's.) We could argue that it was in Michael Schumacher's hands in Germany that year though! Sponsors were Camel, Tredaire, Walkers Shortbread and Mobil may have been involved too? |

Hello I finally found some photos of the Reynard and on the Ralt.
Where the 3 cars running at the same time for PSR? or just one car at the time? http://www.flickr.com/photos/smtfhw/...660486/?page=5 http://www.flickr.com/photos/smtfhw/...n/set-1660486/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/smtfhw/...n/set-1660486/ http://www.flickr.com/photos/smtfhw/...n/set-1660486/ |

This site might be of some interest - it does not have individual chassis records but does give a good over view of most manufacturers and their models:
