Gear for sale.. maybe a fellow ten-tenther would like first refusal..?
Ye-olde faithful Sigma 300/2.8 is about to be replaced with the new VR Nikon 300/2.8 and so, before going to eBay, I was wondering if any my fellow ten tenthers would be interested..
Nice glass with lots of good results.. maybe, ultimately, not quite as pin sharp as the Nikon, but I'd challenge most to tell the difference in "real life".. It has produced double page magazine work such that you wouldn't tell it wasn't shot on the nikon glass.. Still current in the sigma range.. Link to Sigma product site for lens.. I've had it for 3 or 4 years.. Never a problem and looked after.. I look after my stuff (ask 500mm).. Glass and lens itself in very good to excelent condition.. still have the box and the carry caes it comes in.. not the usual ex-pro battered goods.. the hood has some paint flaking off it though.. cosmetic.... Nikon D mount.. I have the 1.4 Sigma matching teleconverter to throw in as well.. Test shots and product shots obviously available.. Sensible price.. Please PM me.. |
