Only 25 cars, no Rupphrett Motorsport either. He no longer has possesion of his cars, which would answer the above question as well.

Has anyone heard anything more on the Howard Racing 2005 Plans? Stories seem to be providing conflicting news...

mayhem, a press release came out with Jamie Cartright going to the uk to race mg's.

excerpt courtesy of racenews...

"After a recent visit to Australia by Rob Oldaker from MG Rover Group UK, Jamie has been invited to compete in a MG ZR at Mallory Park on Sunday 29 August 2004. Fiona Leggate, a young talented series competitor, has seized the opportunity of Jamie’s visit and has invited Jamie to make up the 3-driver combination in the Britcar Willshire 5 hour endurance race at Snetterton the day before Mallory Park. Jamie will be partnering both Fiona Leggate and MG BTCC driver Anthony Reid."

There u go

So why would they enter the car for Mallala, naming the regular driver as well?

Because they only have a few races requiring codrivers. Now if the races were all long distance races and 2 driver races Ritter and quite a few other talented drivers could be racing year round.

Only 26 cars there. Is this the first sign of demand dropping off.

Well if you are a privateer, pete, and based in Sydney or QLD, its a long way to go for limited exposure compared to the Grand Finale at Mt Panorama

How good is Ritter!!!been Plastering all year and hops in that AU and is fastest in qualifying.

Are they using SBR engines in that thing, how much SBR input into the car?
