Where is the Homestead entry list?
Only two weeks away and we don't have an entry list from Grand-am.com?
I assume the race will take place. Two Fabcars are confirmed from what I understand, as is the Focus, but the other DP, GT, GTS, SRPII cars? |

Got to wait till early March to have the official Entry List. The Crawford team will have their own Daytona Prototype at Homestead.

In all seriousness, I am begining to wonder if the race will be cancelled. A field of only 44 (45 if you count the late withdraw) at Daytona didn't bode well for the rest of the season.
We have the two Brumos, Ford, Fabcar/Toyota, most likely a Pichio and a Doran, and maybe a Crawford, surely they can get enough 911s into the field. Maybe they will do like last year and let GA Cup take to the track to help out? I hate the way GA is doing, and the Daytona Prototype, but I am a racing fan and expect a road race of some sorts. At least ALMS and F1 are coming up... Last edited by H16; 17 Feb 2003 at 14:30. |

Hmmm....There is speculation on the G/A board that the entry list would be less than 20 cars and that G/A is waiting for more entries.
There is a lot of weird stuff on that board, but that seems like a plausable answer to myself. |

There is now an entry list, but it apparently has a "connection failure". More like "Direction failure". I don't know, call me crazy, but I have a hard time believing the "error" on the long awaited entry list.

13 cars. DSC stating GARRA is not expecting new entries into the DP class at all for the year. |

... or at least that the same number of DPs will be racing at the end of the season (allowing for some to buy, some to sell and/or drop out).
(This is not from dsc, as they're down - but from MC ("eddsc") on the IMSA discussion forum) |
