Should Volvo run a 3rd car in the '02 STCC??
Volvo have signed Sandstrom to race with Flash Nilsson in the 2002 STCC, one of the best touring car series in the world.
But Volvo have a third ex-TWR 1999 spec S40 in the team workshop, and it is certain it won't be sent off to race elsewhere in the world. I beleive that Volvo should enter a third car in the 2002 STCC. Who should drive? |

Jan Lindblom should be given a go in a factory car.
Are any privateers looking at running Volvo's in the 02 STCC? |

Yes, Magnus Krokström is changing from his Audi A4 to a Volvo S40. It is uncertain where Jan Lindblom will go. Currently he is in the states and testing for a number of CART and IRL teams.

I forgot about Magnus Krokstrom changing to a Volvo. It is great news.
He is a great driver, has a great little team, and good sponsors. He will win races, no doubt about that. What spec is his S40 going to be: 1999 or 1998? I hope other teams and drivers also enter S40s. |
