I wouldn't buy stuff like that online - especially if it's for the first time. The sizes vary quite a bit between manufacturers (and in the some helmets cases, between shops!)
It's definately worth popping down somewhere to try a few things on.. |

If you're in no rush why not wait until the Autosprout show? There's usually some reasonable deals to be had.

Stand21 is good but pricey, there's Advanced Wear and Safety though who will do made to measure at very reasonable cost - useful for the more ample gentleman! If you're based nr London there's F1 in Chiswick. I'd agree with the mailorder problem though, sizes do vary a lot. Mind you, Tweeks have a good returns policy, it's just getting a decent discount which is hard. Stacy |

I bought an FIA suit from AWS years ago at the racing car show. This year I bought a new AGV helmet about 50/60 quid off from Stand 21. I've seen the bedlam but I have to say that I still picture the rather cute girl who tried on a reduced price race suit which was just a little too tight. Boy did it look good. So the Autosprout show can be good for bargains and other stuff.

AWS was taken over last year so I don't know whether the new guy will be doing as much as Mike Theodore used to?
