Silly Season 2006
It seems as though the top teams are completely sown up in terms of their main drivers, but what of the other six teams and their testers. This is what has shapened up so far. What do you think will change, and what rookies would you like to see debut in F1.

Honda junior team is unlikely to happen now until 2007 as the teams won't agree to it using a BAR chassis. |

From DC onward the numbering system goes awry. You put DC down as 14, when infact he should be 13 (therefore, all the following drivers are one number too high). Oh, hang on, is that accounting for superstition things or something?
When was Nico confirmed as the Williams second driver? I clearly missed something major! |

I suspect Jani will be a test driver for either RBR or STR, with Speed in one of the STR race cars. As for Midland, Montiero is likely to stay on, with Davidson surely in with a chance of the second car. I think BAR have confirmed James Rossiter as their test driver.

I would rather Villeneuve was at Red bull, he'd do a better job than DC, and I would love JV and Klien as team mates, no doubt everyone would disagree.

So being world champion in 1997 means he'd perform better now, EIGHT years later, despite recent performances?
And DC has never said that, and certainly not this year! |

Oh yes, JV won a championship and DC not!! Is that what your facts are about by any chance?
Well, if you look at this year's figures, this is what you will get Out of 18 races, DC finished 11 times ahead of JV, and JV 6 times ahead of DC. The other 2 races were USa & another one when they both DNF Massa managed to finish 13 times ahead of his team mate this year. |

That was just one fact as I had to prove my opinion.
Shouldn't have said it actually as the JV bashing would start but who cares. Also can't really compare JV to DC this year as the Sauber was not as good as the Red Bull. But JV has only been in the best car twice and finsihed first and second in the championship in his two shots in the best car, since then he was been in poor or adverage cars where was DC has had a number of shots at the world title but failed to capitalise. |

The Sauber should have been way better than the Red Bull car.It had a better engine, supposedly superior aerodynamics and two supposedly superior drivers. What happened?

Do you have a fly in your eye with all this winking? Back on topic I still stand by what I said earlier, as it is a silly season thread that I wished JV was team mates with Klien sure they are my favorite drivers but there are other reasons...
