Lap Timer Recommendations under £200??
Can anyone recommend a good lap timer for a saloon car under the £200 mark? The best I've seen so far is the T200 from Demon Tweeks, but past experience with DT says there's probably cheaper and better elsewhere...or at the very least cheaper!

not a bad litle timer and you probably wouldn't need the beacon as lots of other people normaly use them. If you speak nicely to Demon Tweaks you can often get a discount. |

I have been using the Roll Centre / Demon Tweeks timer since 1996 (albeit saw no action for 5 years in the middle).
I stopped taking the beacon with me a long time ago - usually works fine off the track beacon or whatever else is kicking around on the day. Got caught out last week though at Donnington - pickup is on the off side and pits there are on nearside! Take the battery out at the end of the day else it will go flat during storage - unit retains times even without battery. |
