Becoming a Circus??
What is this all about. I think Coulthard is completely out of order by calling Bernoldi an Idiot. You know he is payed to race not to move over and let other drivers by. Fair enough, Coulthard had the better equipment and was loosing time but that is racing you know. Perhaps if his team had got him off the grid they wouldn't have felt the need to partake in this childish bullying they are now in the middle off!

IMO I think that this is Ron Dennis talking through David Coulthard..David was pretty cool about it post race..But a few days of hearing uncle Ron's moaning and groaning has now got David going! Concentrate on racing ONLY David..

Very childish and untypical of DC. I'd be surprised if we hear any more of this kind of baby talk from him.
OTOH, moaning about "backmarkers" (everyone not driving for McLaren) not letting him past is kind of a habit of his isn't it? |

He should of let his frustration show on the track,(instead of off it) and shunt Bernoldi. People talk about the 2 points but he would of been better off long term, to impose himself as someone NOT to mess around with, ala Senna, Schumacher, Prost, Montoya etc.
The next time DC finds himself at the back off the track fighting for position, Drivers will be lining up to prey on his apparant weakness. |

But Jenson would just ride it. I met him when he was just a somebody in F3. He was just brilliant (and I'm a 51 yr old been there done that pretty blase unimpressable sort of guy).
BTW Liz - how do you find time to be posting obn every thread (nearly) on this list?? I'm pretty thrilled to make it to "Racer" status after a couple of weeks - but it does take time!! |

Does that mean that the backmarkers are the shovel detail?

By carrying on like they have, Dennis and Coulthard have shown who the real idiots are.
For a struggling team like Arrows, every possible position counts. It's not unusual for only 6 or 7 cars to finish at Monaco - who knows Bernoldi may have been racing for a points finish at the end of the race. I think Coulthard and Dennis have massive problems - and they can see their championship slowly slipping away. Walkinshaw was right, McLaren should be looking in their own backyard as to why DC was in that position. PS. DC is payed millions and millions, and is supposed to be one of the best in the business. How come he couldn't even pass a lousy backmarker? |
