Pretty accurate history as near as I know. The point he made about the CART powers-that-were killing Gurney's stock-block in the boardroom was important. Gurney's innovation with the stock-block with drivers like Rocky Moran and the late Mike Mosley was cost-effective and competitive with the bigger teams, which followed the vision that Gurney's "White Paper" did. And those Eagles were beautiful race cars. It was unfortunate that decision was made to ban his engine because that was the single biggest thing that led to costs rising in the '80s and further.
