Yes Mercedes were faultless but that was to be expected so gave my vote to Maclaren as they did much better than expected

Mercedes. Maybe they were sandbagging a bit here at the beginning. It did seem like the Red Bull could challenge them. They had it under control here with another 1 and 2.


Wallies of the race = Ferrari. Nice pitstop with Kimi and his having to park up and reverse back down. Hmmmmm.

The McLaren looked and sounded really good to be honest in practice, I could see in the race that the front of Jensons car did not have enough grip ..

You can't argue against Mercedes, really, but an honourable mention to McLaren for getting both cars into the top 10 at much higher positions than they qualified......

1-2 in qually. 1-2 in the race. Nothing broke. Nothing misbehaved. Good strategy. Every pitstop went to plan. Has to be Mercedes.

The Red Bulls had their moments of course, but one car broke, they had a dodgy pitstop, and they were beaten by the Mercs.

McLaren had a bad time on qually but sorted it out in the race, partly helped by the gaps opening up for them on the first lap. They're turning it around slowly.
